Custom Embroidery in Toronto

Embroidery is stitched, not printed. Your logo is sewn into the fabric with thread, which is why it outlasts the garment it sits on.

When embroidery is the right choice

  • Corporate polos, staff uniforms and client-facing teams
  • Caps and beanies - embroidery is the standard here
  • Jackets, vests and fleece, where a print can crack on a heavy shell
  • Anywhere the garment has to look formal rather than casual
  • Left-chest logos, cap fronts and sleeve marks

How it looks and wears

A stitched logo is raised and has real texture. It reads as more expensive than a print, and it does not fade, crack or wash out - the thread is part of the garment now.

What embroidery does not do well

This is worth knowing before you commit. Embroidery works in thread, not ink, so:

  • Photographs, gradients and fine shading cannot be stitched
  • Very small text loses its shape - letters need room
  • Every extra thread colour adds cost, unlike DTF where colour is free
  • Large full-front designs get heavy and stiff

If your artwork is detailed or full-colour, DTF printing is the better fit. Send us the file and we will tell you honestly which one suits it, or read the full comparison of all three methods.

Pricing and setup

Embroidery is priced on stitch count and thread colours rather than a flat per-piece rate, so it is quoted rather than calculated online. Your logo also has to be digitised into a stitch file first - a one-time cost per design, which may be charged separately or absorbed into the job depending on the quantity.

Call 647-739-9487 or email meet@printinguncle.com with your logo and roughly what you need, and we will price it before you commit to anything.

What to send us

Whatever you have - a logo file, a photo of an old uniform, a sketch. We will prepare the artwork and send you a free mockup before any stitching starts. If you are ordering for a team, we can bring samples to you first so you can see the garments in person.
