There is a real uncle.
He has been printing out of a Toronto garage for years, for a handful of clients who found him by word of mouth. No website, no brand, no storefront. If you knew him, you knew him, and if you did not, you never heard the name.
We grew up around it. Helping out, watching him fix other people's badly drawn logos, watching him refuse to send out a shirt he was not happy with. The craft was never the problem. The problem was that nobody outside a small circle could find him.
What we changed
Printing Uncle is the same work, made reachable. We put a catalogue of 225 garments online, built a design studio where you can place your own artwork and see the price as you go, and started shipping across Canada and the US.
What we did not change is how the work gets done. It is still a small team. We still print in house. We still tell you when your idea will not work.
How we work with you
We handle the whole thing, not just the printing. Which garment suits your industry. Whether your logo should be printed or embroidered. Fixing artwork that is not ready. Seeing the design on the actual garment before you commit to it. And if something is wrong after delivery, it is still ours to make right.
That was always how the uncle did it. We just gave it a name and a website.
